hybrid edge: THE Retreat

3 days. 16 athletes. One standard.

The Hybrid Edge retreat is where physical intensity meets identity work.
You will train. You will be challenged.
And you will leave with a version of yourself that doesn't switch off when the session ends.

This is a structured immersion. Every session, every conversation, every physical challenge is designed with a specific purpose.

You'll move through high-performance training sessions, aerobic capacity work, and technical skill development alongside nervous system recalibration, identity expansion work, and leadership integration coaching.

The physical side is real. Gym-based programming combined with trail runs, hikes, and beach sessions on the Mornington Peninsula. Your body will work.

But the physical work is the door. The coaching and facilitation is the key.

Because when you strip away comfort, remove the usual distractions, and put someone inside sustained physical intensity alongside skilled facilitation, something opens up. The protective patterns that usually run your decisions start losing their grip. And the person underneath, the one you trust inside training, gets to show up in full.

That's the shift. And you can feel it when it happens.

September 2026 – Location

Mornington Peninsula

The retreat is held on the Mornington Peninsula, about an hour south of Melbourne. Every session uses the environment deliberately: beach workouts at dawn, trail runs through native bush, gym sessions in a private facility. The location isn't decorative. It's part of the architecture.

Day 1 - EXPOSURE

The first day is about seeing where your patterns live, how your nervous system responds under observation, and where the gap between your training self and your everyday self actually sits. Physical sessions begin immediately. The work has already started before you realise it.

day 2 - The Edge

This is where intensity builds and comfort drops away. This is where your protective strategies get tested. The proving. The performing. The negotiating. The pulling back. All of it becomes visible, because there's nowhere left to hide. And inside that exposure, something loosens. That's where the real work lives.

day 3 - integration

Today is about anchoring the upgrades and making sure the shift doesn't evaporate when you go home. You'll leave with a personal command, a clear standard, and a 4-week integration plan that carries the new identity into your next training block, your next work week, your actual life.

Your Questions, Answered

  • No. You need to be someone who takes their training seriously. Functional fitness athletes, runners, endurance racers, anyone who trains consistently and holds themselves to a standard. You don't need to be competing at the top. You do need to be willing to be challenged.

  • You should be training regularly (3+ sessions a week) and comfortable with physical intensity. Sessions will be scaled, but the work is real. If you'd describe yourself as a committed recreational or competitive athlete, you're in the right place.

  • At Hybrid Edge, they are the same thing: the physical training is genuine and demanding, and you will get an aerobic capacity boost (so schedule it ahead of your next race or event to capture the fitness benefit). The identity work is woven through every session, not bolted on as a separate module. They're the same thing.

  • Readiness isn’t a prerequisite. It’s built while you’re there. But if you’re looking for a reason to wait, you’ll find one.

  • To make this retreat as accessible as possible, we do not include overnight accommodation. This allows athletes to book a standard that suits them (or make their way in each day if they live locally). Get in touch with our team if you need booking support. The gym sessions will operate out of Dromana on the Mornington Peninsula.

  • All of your meals are included, so you won’t need to think about how you need to fuel your training or recovery.
